HerSport Pro is a women-centered career, leadership, and business fellowship for women who want to be part of the rapidly growing world of women’s sports.

The fellowship brings together current and former women athletes, women already working in sports, and professionals from other industries who want to understand the business at a deeper level, gain hands-on experience, expand their network, and explore where they can make an impact.

Through a women-centered lens, participants take a deep dive into the business of women’s sports, examining industry trends, power structures, media, investment, sponsorship, entrepreneurship, fandom, athlete voice, and the opportunities that are still waiting to be built.

But HerSport Pro goes beyond understanding the industry.

Participants work on real challenges with organizations in women’s sports, learning by doing and gaining experience they can carry into their careers, businesses, and next chapters.

Participants learn alongside women with different experiences, perspectives, and ambitions. They meet athletes, founders, executives, entrepreneurs, and changemakers and build relationships with a cohort that continues beyond the fellowship.

You do not need to have your next move figured out.

Frequently Asked Questions

This is a highly selective Fellowship and our cohort sizes depend on various factors. We typically strive for a diverse, intimate group of Fellows who can delve deep with us for the entire 20 week commitment.

There is no application fee. The cost of the Fellowship can be paid overtime. Scholarships are available on a need basis. For more information, please email us at athlea@womenx.org.

We will accept and review applications on a rolling basis.

HerSport Pro is open to women who are interested in the business of women’s sports, regardless of whether they currently work in sports.

Applicants may be current or former athletes, recent graduates, professionals from other industries, entrepreneurs, career changers, or women exploring their next opportunity.

You do not need previous sports industry experience to apply. We are looking for women who are curious, engaged, open to new ideas, and excited to learn, build relationships, and explore where they might fit within the growing women’s sports ecosystem.

HerSport Pro is designed to be intensive, but flexible enough to fit alongside work, training, school, and other commitments.

Participants should expect a consistent weekly commitment that includes live or collaborative sessions, independent learning, and project-based work. The exact schedule will be finalized once the cohort is selected.

Because the fellowship includes hands-on work with real organizations, some weeks may require additional time depending on the project and team needs.

We ask Fellows to come ready to participate fully, contribute to their cohort, and make the most of the learning, relationships, and real-world experience the program offers.

The Fellowship is intentionally designed around the needs of each selected cohort. Format and scheduling may include a mix of virtual live sessions, collaborative work, independent learning, and, in some cases, a short in-person gathering or multi-day intensive.

Session timing is determined with the cohort and designed to accommodate academic schedules, training, travel, time zones, and professional responsibilities. WomenX works closely with each group to create a structure that is accessible, meaningful, and manageable.
