Our Team

We are two women from different backgrounds and generations connected by our values and commitment to redefining higher education and professional spaces for women.

Mary Ciampa

Founder & CEO

Ironwoman, serial entrepreneur and women advocate. Being dyslexic, Mary understands deeply that nothing great can be accomplished without hard work and a talented team. Mary’s Northeastern University education and practical work experience catapulted her career and fed her passion for entrepreneurship giving her the confidence at 28 to launch her first startup, a software company. Over her 30- year career, she’s helped national and international startups. Her Board and Advisory roles at Boston Museum of Science and Berklee College of Music Online inspired her to tackle the growing number of barriers to accessing a quality education faced by women.

Tiffany Bullock

Co-Founder & COO

Tiffany is a justice, diversity, equity, inclusion, accessibility, and sustainability advocate dedicated to creating career pathways for women and people of color. Her work in diversity and professional development was inspired by her experience practicing at Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP where she actively participated in the firm’s diversity recruiting initiatives and in affinity groups supporting working parents, women, and Black lawyers. During Tiffany’s subsequent tenure at SEO Law, she developed partnerships and fellowship opportunities to support underrepresented law students and attorneys. She holds a B.A. degree in History from the University of Pennsylvania and a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center. She continues to mentor Black law students through her role with the Afro Scholars Program.

We believe that everyone should view their educational journey as a continuous path with no end in sight.

Welcome to our community of lifelong learners. Where it matters not your age or graduation date, but rather the depth of your curiosity from the moment you choose to start learning with us.

Mary founded WomenX on the anniversary of Title IX, June 23rd. This groundbreaking legislation gave women equal access to all federally funded education programs and activities. It is because of this law that women have the right to an equal education as well as equal opportunity to play a sport. We honor this important law and seek to build on it’s legacy by providing educational programs from the women’s lens, where women experts and scholars are at the forefront of our offerings and women’s contributions in society are shared and celebrated.

Tiffany joined Mary in the Fall of 2020 to use her experience and platform to further Mary’s mission of advancing women in their education and career by forming a true community around those who feel left out of conversations affecting their future and well being. Women deserve not only a seat at the table, but we also reserve the right to decide what is on the menu.

We accomplished so much this past year (take a look at some of our highlights below), but our goals for 2024 are even bigger. To sum them up, we wish for more engagement, more connectivity, and more opportunities to take steps towards gender equity.
